How to Backup / Restore your iPhone
Backup
Please note you should login to your iTunes account you created when signing into your phone on iTunes before backing your Phone up. You can do this through Account -> Sign in.
Plug your iPhone into your PC with the USB cable provided
After plugging it in you will get the following messages on both iTunes and your personal iPhone. Click Continue and Trust on both to allow access from both clients. You will now be able to see your iPhone on your PC and access it through iTunes.
Click the Phone icon on iTunes located in the picture below to access your iPhone
This will now bring you to the following screen which by default should bring you to the summary page. To back up your iPhone to your PC and iTunes account simply select this computer and click Back Up Now.
(Note: You can also back it up to your iCloud account but you only receive 5GB for free. If you have more space than this to backup you must pay for a bigger plan or delete data before doing this)
Restoring iPhone
Once you have an active backup stored on the PC or iCloud account you can then restore your data on a new phone or newly wiped phone by simply clicking Restore iPhone. You will then select the backup you wish to restore and that’s it.
