There are many reasons why a computer may just stop working or "freeze". Rarely this should happen and cause issues. When your computer no longer responds to keyboard commands your best bet is to re-boot the computer. If this happens multiple times or consistently there could be a bigger issue at hand and will need to contact IT.
Please note if you are working on something when the freeze happens that you did not save it will not be saved or pick up on where it left off after the reboot. If this is something that could cause an issue contact IT to see if we can try to salvage or correct the issue without a reboot.
